Welcome! We're easy to find. Look to the left as you enter the main doors and "Voila" - Gleneagle's beautiful, bright and clean library facility. There to help you are teacher-librarian, Ms Leblond and Mrs Newton, the library assistant. Our doors open from 8 am to 4 pm.
Come in and read a magazine on our "comfy chairs" or choose a novel to read for class or in your spare time. We also have tons of books that correspond to what you're learning in class. If you cant find what you're looking for- we're happy to assist you. The only thing we ask in return is that you respect the need for others to work in a quiet setting.
The library is open and available to students throughout the school day. Food and drinks are not allowed. The library is also a 'classroom' therefore Cell Phone restrictions are in effect. Students are encouraged to take advantage of the many and varied resources the library has to offer.
A photocopier is available to students at a cost of 10 cents per page. Students may also use the library printer. When printing from library computers, the first copy of the day is free, additional pages are 10 cents each.
Your GO card doubles as a library card. If you don’t have it when signing out a book, please have your 6 digit student ID number memorized.
Computer passwords are available from the library on a sticker, which we suggest you place in your student planner. If lost (or left at home) there will be a $1.00 charge for replacement.
